Tour Plan

1 Cochin to Munnar:

Upon arrival at Cochin airport or railway station, you will be greeted and then proceed to the breathtaking hill station of Munnar. Marvel at the never-ending expanse of lush tea plantations that blanket the hills, creating a haven for nature lovers. In the afternoon, visit Rajamala, also known as the Nilgiri Tahr National Park, where you can spot the highly endangered mountain goats, the Nilgiri Thars. Overnight stay in Munnar.

2 Explore Munnar:

After a delicious breakfast, set out to explore the beauty of Munnar. Visit Echo Point, a scenic spot known for its natural echo phenomenon, and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the surroundings. Proceed to the enchanting Mattupetty Dam, flanked by dense forests and vast grasslands on one side, and the picturesque Kundala tea plantation on the other. Overnight stay in Munnar.

3 Munnar to Thekkady:

Leave Munnar after breakfast and proceed to Thekkady. By noon, reach Thekkady and take some time to relax. Later, head to the renowned Periyar Lake, around which the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is built. Opt for an exciting boat ride on the lake (additional cost), offering a chance to spot various wildlife species. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Thekkady.

4 Thekkady to Kumarakam/Alleppey (Backwaters):

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Kumarakam or Alleppey, popularly known as the Venice of the East. Check into the hotel by noon and spend the afternoon cruising through the legendary backwaters of Kerala on a traditional motorboat (optional, cost not included). Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the backwaters and witness the picturesque landscapes. Overnight stay in Kumarakam or Alleppey.

5 Kumarakam/Alleppey to Kovalam:

After a delicious breakfast, proceed to the serene beach town of Kovalam. Check into the hotel and spend the evening relaxing at the famous Kovalam Beach. Explore the sandy shores, take a dip in the crystal-clear waters, and soak up the sun’s warm rays. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

6 Explore Kovalam and Trivandrum:

After breakfast, embark on a tour of Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala. Visit the renowned Napier Museum, which houses a splendid collection of ancient artifacts and artworks. Proceed to the majestic Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and marvel at its architectural grandeur. 7 Kovalam to Trivandrum:
