A 3000 km journey from Kolkata to Arunachal Pradesh

A 3000 km journey from Kolkata to Arunachal Pradesh

Embarking on a road trip from Kolkata to Arunachal Pradesh was the dream that finally came true for me and my three best friends. We planned this 3000 km journey with the help of BreakBag Holidays Pvt Ltd., who are known for their excellent Arunachal Pradesh travel packages. With our bags packed, playlists ready, and hearts full of excitement, we began our adventure into one of India's most mesmerizing states.

>      The Epic Journey Begins

Our road trip left early one morning from Kolkata, and this city is a treasure trove of history and culture. By planning out the itinerary for our Arunachal Pradesh tour, we were confident of covering the long stretch through West Bengal, Assam and finally into the uncharted terrains of Arunachal Pradesh. It was with each milestone passed that we moved closer toward the serene beauty that was waiting for us. We filled our journey with pit stops for chai at roadside dhabas, laughing over quirky road signs, and endless conversations about what awaited us.

The real thrill began as we left Assam and entered Arunachal Pradesh through lush green mountains and winding roads. Transition from plains to hills felt like entering another world altogether. This was not any road trip; it was the beginning of an unforgettable experience curated perfectly by BreakBag Holidays Pvt Ltd.

>      Hidden Gems Along the Way

As we drove deeper into Arunachal Pradesh, we discovered countless hidden gems. One of our first stops was the Namdapha National Park, a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. This vast biodiversity hotspot left us awestruck with its dense forests and exotic species.

Further ahead, we chanced upon the quaint village of Ziro, known for its beautiful Apatani culture and stunning views. We could not resist the opportunity to spend a day here by exploring its lush rice fields and interacting with the very friendly locals. Ziro seemed like a postcard that had come to life.

On the way to Tawang, we took a small detour to visit the breathtaking Sela Pass, a high-altitude pass nestled amidst snow-capped mountains. The Sela Lake was quite a sight to see and has been referred to as Paradise Lake. These were just some of the reasons we felt that Arunachal Pradesh tours are something no one should miss as travelers on the quest for tranquillity and adventure.

>      Exploring the Enchanting Landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh is a treasure trove of natural beauty. Tawang, our main destination, greeted us with its stunning landscapes and spiritual aura. The Tawang Monastery, the largest in India, was a serene experience that offered us a glimpse into the rich Buddhist heritage of the region. We also visited the picturesque Bum La Pass and Madhuri Lake, both offering views that took our breath away.

Each turn of Arunachal Pradesh seemed to open up a new story—dense forests, crystal clear rivers, and rolling hills that stretched endlessly. These sights make us understand why Arunachal Pradesh sightseeing is such a popular activity among tourists.

>      Experiencing the Diverse Traditions of Arunachal Pradesh

One of the highlights of our journey was immersing ourselves in the rich traditions of Arunachal Pradesh. Be it colourful tribal dances or unique cuisines, every interaction added to our appreciation of the state's cultural diversity. We were fortunate to witness a local festival in Itanagar, and the energy and colours of the celebrations were simply infectious.

We also savoured traditional cuisine such as bamboo shoot pickles and momos, which were a pleasant departure from our usual road trip snacks. Those moments, in addition to the stories locals shared with us, added a rich layer of depth to our understanding of Arunachal Pradesh's heritage.

>      Challenges, Adventures, and Memories from a 3000 km Drive

No road trip is ever complete without its share of challenges. Steep roads and sudden changes in weather were some of the things that tested our driving skills and patience. However, these hurdles only made our journey more memorable.

The long hours on the road were balanced by the thrill of discovering new places and the joy of spending quality time with friends. From singing along to old Bollywood songs to stopping for spontaneous photo sessions, every moment was a cherished memory.

Our hearts were full, and cameras bursting with pictures as we concluded our long journey back to Kolkata. For a journey of 3000 kms of all roads' vacation, it was more than that. It was indeed about discovering life and venturing beyond boundaries, forging an unbeatable relationship with nature and culture.
