Deep in the forests of Seithekiema, three silver ribbons of water plunge side by side into a mist-wrapped pool, their roar swelling long before you catch your first glimpse.

Tucked within the Seithekiema-A village eco-park near Chümoukedima, Triple Falls Nagaland is a spectacular triple cascade tumbling roughly 280 feet through dense subtropical greenery. The trail to Seithekiema Triple Falls winds past towering trees, fern-draped rocks and the constant chatter of birdsong, opening suddenly onto the three-tiered curtain of water. Managed by the local community, Triple Falls Dzükou / Chümoukedima offers gentle nature walks, canopy bridges and quiet picnic spots, all maintained with genuine village pride. The air here is cool and damp, scented with wet earth and moss — a refreshing pause amid the wider trekking country of the Dzükou–Japfü range.

Best time to visit: October to April, when the trails are dry and the falls run clear; the surrounding forest is especially lush just after the monsoon.

Traveller tip: Wear sturdy shoes for the slightly slippery forest path, and carry small change for the community-run entry and eco-park upkeep — a direct way to support the villagers who protect this site. Pair the visit with local Naga snacks from stalls near the entrance. Domestic visitors need an Inner Line Permit for Nagaland.
